Diamond Tile

One of our favorite ways to add interest to a neutral tile installation is by playing with shape. Diamond-shaped tiles are classic yet still offer a fun element of geometry. Looking for something bolder? Play with diamond tiles with 3-D elements or reflection or opt for a unique material.

Shop by Size

Small diamond tile

A small diamond pattern tile creates a bustling, detailed look, ideal for adding intricate patterns in smaller areas like shower insets or as a backsplash. These smaller format designs often include additional embellishments, such as rhombuses to create a lattice appearance, or other geometric shapes to create a varied mosaic.

Large diamond tile

Bigger tile patterns tend to come in simpler, basic crosshatch design. This offers a more modern and streamlined aesthetic, ideal for creating a sense of cohesion in larger areas like large walls or open concept homes.

Where to Use Diamond Tile

Floors

For a twist on a classic look, consider opting for a diamond pattern tile floor rather than a typical square tile floor. Large diamond shaped tiles are ideal for flooring, as they can help make an open concept room feel grounded. For smaller spaces like entryways, the higher level of repetition from a smaller diamond tile can help make the space feel bigger.

Showers

The angular lines and patterns created by diamond shaped tiles can influence the perception of space in your shower. Arranging tiles with an overlapping diamond pattern in a way that points upward can draw the eye vertically, making the shower area feel taller and more spacious.

Kitchen backsplash

Installing diamond backsplash tile is a fun alternative to the conventional subway tile look. The diamond shape provides a sharp counterpoint to the right angles of counters and cabinets, creating a dynamic and modern feel.
